Conor Maynard's Debut Album 'Contrast' Charts At Number 1

Conor Maynard’s debut album, ‘Contrast’, has shot straight to the top of the albums chart, beating stiff competition from Plan B. With a wealth of great reviews for the album (check out Stereoboard's review here) it sees Conor firmly establish himself as one of the brightest new stars on the UK’s music scene.

Brighton-based chart sensation Conor will be celebrating his Number 1 album with performances at this month’s V Festival, where he’ll be appearing at the Union Arena with his full band, on Saturday 18th August in Staffordshire and Sunday 19th August in Chelmsford.

Conor recently unveiled the music video for his latest track ‘Vegas Girl’, which was released on July 23rd. 'Vegas Girl' is the follow-up to his debut single ‘Can’t Say No’, which slammed into the charts at Number 2 in April and has sold over 200,000 copies in the UK to date, alongside Maynard’s combined global video views of more than 10 million.

‘Vegas Girl’ is another slice of urban electro-pop, written and produced by Conor with the Invisible Men.
