Seven months after winning the 2011 series of The X Factor, Little Mix triumphantly return with their new single ‘Wings’, released through Syco/Sony Music on 26th August 2012. Built on a strident soul and RNB-flavoured rhythm and featuring an astonishing vocal turn from each member, ‘Wings’ is produced by British hitmakers TMS (Professor Green – 'Read All About It', Dappy – 'No Regrets') and co-written by the girls themselves; Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
Although Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade originally auditioned for the X Factor as solo performers, under the tutelage of judge and mentor Tulisa Contostavlos they joined forces to become Little Mix, X Factor’s first ever victorious group. The girls shot straight to Number 1 with their debut single ‘Cannonball’.
Signed to Syco Music, Little Mix have already been wowing live arenas and crowds with their performances on the X Factor Tour and at T4 On The Beach, while they have been announced as the special guests on JLS’s upcoming summer tour.
