Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Announces Debut Solo Album 'My Ego Told Me To', Plots UK & European Tour

Leigh-Anne has announced her debut solo album.
'My Ego Told Me To' will arrive on February 20 and finds the Little Mix star defying expectations and following only her own rules. Co-written with Clarence "Coffee" Jr., Owen Cutts, Khris Riddick and Fred Ball, whose combined credits include Dua Lipa, Beyoncé, Stormzy, Greentea Peng, SZA, Kehlani and Rihanna, the record takes inspiration from the singer's Caribbean roots, blending elements of pop, R&B, dancehall and reggae.
The album, which follows her 2024 EP 'No Hard Feelings', will include her recent singles, Burning Up and Been A Minute, along with Dead And Gone, which is set to drop this Friday (October 17), though the full tracklist has yet to be revealed. Leigh-Anne said:
"This album is the truest representation of me as an artist. Versatile, rooted in reggae and my heritage, but stamped with pop. It’s personal and impossible to box in. I wanted it to feel authentic, blending the genres I love with a sound that’s distinctly mine. It’s also a statement: standing by my art and doing it my way. These are songs I’ll be proud of in five, ten years, because they reflect exactly where I was. You’ll hear my world in it, my daughters, my marriage, my fight for power, and the moment I embraced my fire side and said: no more. This is my show now."
Alongside the news, Leigh-Anne has announced her My Ego Told Me To Tour for next spring, featuring shows in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London, where she'll play the O2 Forum Kentish Town on April 11. She'll then visit mainland Europe for performances in the Netherlands, France and Germany. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on October 24.
Earlier in October, the vocalist appeared alongside Jonita Gandhi on DJ and producer Sigala's new single, Hello.
