The Eyes Unveil 'Harder' Video - Watch Now

The Eyes - consisting of Estate Recordings’ Chimpo and MC Fox - have unveiled the brand new music video for their track ‘Harder’, out August 20th.

The brand new track is the first single from new partnership The Eyes, and sees the pair taking things back to the roots with a much-needed slice of chilled out-yet-deep reggae. The video, directed by Joe Gavin, sees Fox doing his thing in a field with a TV blaring out clips from the riots that hit the UK last year - you can check it out below.

While some may have been expecting a drum and bass or dubstep track, the tune is a head nod-inducing piece of music jam packed with reggae flavours and dub vibes - something which is rarely seen nowadays. Fox has enjoyed a decent amount of success recently with tracks alongside drum and bass bigwigs Dub Phizix and Spectrasoul recently, but proves his ability to pull off any style with flawless vocals on this track.

Again highlighting Fox’s and Chimpo’s eclectic taste and ability, the track’s B-side ‘Come Again’ - featuring Marka star Strategy - changes up the style, and takes things to a much darker level. Strategy’s unmistakable vocals give this dancehall-esque beat an element of grime, whilst keeping up the dub vibes found on both sides of this 7”.

You can check out the video below - keep your eyes peeled for more from this duo in the near future.
