Vans Warped Tour Hunt for A "Pit Reporter”

Thursday, 06 September 2012 Written by Jon Stickler

The Vans Warped Tour is looking for a Pit Reporter for its UK Leg on November 10th at London’s Alexandra Palace. In keeping with the tradition of the US tour, organisers are giving aspiring journalists and TV presenters the chance to apply.

Hot shots should send in 3 of their best photos and a 60-second video on why they think they should go to the November 10th Vans Warped Tour stop in London and cover the show as the festival’s official Warped Pit Reporter. Organisers are looking for someone who knows the difference between Dig and Digg and is comfortable with all aspects of new media and social networking.

The Vans Warped Tour team will review all applications and the winner will be notified via email and/or phone by October 15th. All applications must be received by midnight, October 7th and be sent to: warpedpitreporter@gmail.com

Only the first 200 applicants will be considered, all applicants have to be over 18 years of age and be available to travel between November 9th-11th.

In other exciting news, The Indecent are the latest addition to the Vans Warped Tour UK line-up. If the Seattle scene were to have a baby with the New York underground scene you would have The Indecent. A buzz is fast building as they make music that is aggressive, subtle, poetic, noisy, and quite often all these things at once.

They join a line-up that boasts such bands as Lostprophets, Bring Me the Horizon, 3OH!3, New Found Glory, Less Than Jake and many more.

Vans Warped Tour UK 2012 takes place Saturday November 10th at London’s Alexandra Palace. Keep you eyes peeled for a final and exciting band announcement in the coming weeks!

Vans Warped Tour UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:

Sat November 10th 2012 - Alexandra Palace, London
