I Like Trains Unveil 'Beacons' Video

Leeds-based alternative rockers I Like Trains have unveiled the brand new music video for their track ‘Beacons’ - you can check it out now below.

‘Beacons’ is the second single to be released from the band’s critically-acclaimed third album ‘The Shallows’, which explores our relationship with technology, something which the video - described as a ‘warning shot against our over-reliance on technology - also alludes to. As part two of a trilogy, it follows on from ‘Mnemosyne's’ portrayal of the analogue 80s growth into the digital age of the present day.

The ‘Beacons EP’ sees I Like Trains further explore the dark possibilities that technology can open up for their music, whilst simultaneously plotting humanity’s demise at its hands. Although still very much a product of our time, old habits die hard, the tracks echoing with civilisations lost to progress.

The band has also confirmed a couple of changes to their UK tour following the closure of Glasgow’s Captains Rest and Bristol’s Cooler. They will now play at Glasgow Art School and Bristol’s The Exchange, and original tickets are still valid. Support has also been confirmed as Post War Glamour Girls and Kyte, who are preparing their new album, both playing a handful of dates.

If you’re a fan, you can find tickets to their tour by checking the dates and links below the video.
