Italian pianist and alt-classical musician Ludovico Einaudi is to perform for two nights at London's Barbican Hall in April 2013.
In June 2011, BBC Radio 1 Presenter Greg James started a campaign to get Ludovico Einaudi's track, 'I Giorni', in the Top 40 singles chart. He mentioned that he found the piece therapeutic when he was studying in University. The first plays of the song got a phenomenal response from listeners which led to the song appearing in the pop charts alongside Beyonce and Lady Gaga.
