Trouble Funk To Play 35th Anniversary Gig In London Next Year

Washington-based go-go and funk pioneers Trouble Funk have announced a 35th Anniversary concert today, which will see them joined by hip-hop go-go DJ Snowboy and Jazz FM DJ Chris Phillips.
The band - spearheaded by legends Timothius "Tee-Bone" David and Big Tony Fisher - will funk out in London’s Islington Assembly Hall on Friday March 15th next year. Tickets for the gig are on sale now and will cost you £25.00 + fees - you can find yours through Stereoboard using the dates and links provided below.
The Americans, who kicked off their career in 1978, helped popularise the genre of ‘go-go’ in their local town and had some big hits over the years - including ‘Hey Fellas’ and ‘Pump Me Up’, the latter of which has been sampled dozens of times in tracks we still hear today.
Joined by a couple of brilliant DJs, this night is set to be a spectacular - so if you’re a fan of funk, go-go, R&B, or hip-hop - get yourself down to this night.
