CIA Line Up 'Tuned In 2' LP Over 10 Years After Volume One

Total Science’s CIA record label has long been at the forefront of drum and bass, releasing theirs and a range of super-talented producers music since as far back as 1996 - making it also one of the oldest still in the game.

ImageIn 2002, they put out a compilation which featured absolute bangers from some of the genre’s biggest names - such as Calibre, Q Project, and Marcus Intalex - called ‘Tuned In’. Now, 10 years later, the label has lined-up a brand new compilation to follow it up, and it’s once again jam packed with some monster tracks.

Featuring some of the same producers and DJs who featured on the initial release all those years ago, the second helping of the LP is an equally as large - yet up-to-date - album of some of the best tunes to come out this side of 2012.

Amongst it’s array of awesome tracks, ‘Tuned In 2’ contains some tunes a lot of you have been dying for - including Break’s sick remix of Total Science anthem ‘Going in Circles’ and 8 Bit and Q Project’s massive ‘Low End Theory’ (which you can see going off(!) here) - as well as some tunes that may even introduce you to some names that you’d never heard of.

Proktah’s dark roller ‘Trust’ will be a sweet introduction to the French-born producer and DJ for those of you who haven’t yet laid ears on him, while Detroit’s Sinistarr - who is quickly entering the public eye - makes an appearance alongside Canadian singer Grimm with ‘Anything’.

There’s also some lovely tracks from some of drum and bass’s biggest names, including Calibre, Lenzman, Total Science, and Serum - meaning there’s something for everyone on the CD.

Out on Friday November 19th, there’ll be a handful of versions for you to grab it on - including CD, vinyl, and digital. The vinyl sampler features Lenzman’s remix of Total Science & S.P.Y’s ‘Past Lives’, Break’s ‘Slipstream’, ‘Low End Theory’, ‘Clipper Man’ by Calibre, Serum’s ‘Vendetta’, and Riya and Zero T’s ‘Stolen Moments’.
