White Bone Rattle Announce New Single 'Miss Mist'

Due for release on 5th November ‘Miss Mist’ is the debut single from album ‘Creature Of Curiosity’ from Kent based psychedelic rockers White Bone Rattle.

Formed in 2009 the band encompasses two pairs of brothers - David and Mark Hayfield, and Jamie and Liam Chrisp. White Bone Rattle are quintessential garage psychedelic rock with catchy scuzzy guitar riffs, melodic bass, flamboyant gravelly vocals and swirling harmonies. Their sound evokes instantaneous nostalgia that harps back to the 60s and 70s and bands such as The Doors or Cream. They also site inspiration from more modern bands such as Tame Impala and The Black Keys. Since their formation the band have toured extensively and supported the likes of Band Of Skulls, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Gary Moore of Thin Lizzy fame who personally requested they join him on his UK tour.

The entire 'Creature Of Curiosity' album was recorded in an abandoned Victorian psychiatric hospital in London, the ominous surroundings have undoubtedly influenced the outcome. First single ‘Miss Mist’ is the centre piece of the record with a catchy chorus and foot tapping rhythm. The track has been mastered by Brian Lucey who also worked his magic with The Black Keys albums 'El Camino' and 'Brothers'. Single artwork produced for White Bone Rattle by renowned contemporary artist Sebastian Wahl and features Ladyhawkes Steven Weston on Hammond organ and keys.

'Miss Mist' is set for it's UK release on 5th November 2012 accompanied by several live dates to support the release.

Limited free downloads of 'Miss Mist' are available here, after which the track will be on iTunes. Check out the video for 'When I Return' below.
