French Alt-Rock Outfit Phoenix To Release New Album In April 2013

French alternative rock outfit Phoenix have reportedly been working on a brand new studio album, and will release it next year.
The Versailles outfit, whose last album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ hit #54 and #37 in the UK and US Albums charts respectively, posted a picture of what seems to be artwork for an album called ‘TPC’ back in 2011, but have kept relatively quiet about it since then.
But now, Daniel Glass - head of the band’s record label Glassnote - has revealed at a Spotify event that work on the album had finished, and that the record would be release in April next year.
With just four months to wait, fans can begin to get excited for what will be the band’s fifth studio album, their first for what will have been for four years. What do you think of the news? Let us know in the comments section below.
