Olly Murs Hits Out At Those Who Question His Credibility

X Factor star Olly Murs has hit out at those who ‘question his credibility’, claiming that he has established himself as a star now having sold over 2.5million albums.
The singer-songwriter released his third studio album ‘Right Place Right Time’ around two weeks ago, and hit #1 in the UK Albums chart last weekend. But, despite his success, Murs seems to still have qualms with those who question his credibility, saying he has already proven himself.
Speaking toThe Sun, Murs explained: “I think the success of the first two albums has catapulted my popularity and so more people are coming to see me live now, which is great, but I think this album is all about credibility. I've established myself as a proper artist. And it's ridiculous when anyone questions my credibility - I've had four number one singles and I've also sold over two and a half million albums.”
He continued: “I shouldn't have to convince people that I'm credible but I'm glad people are now taking me more seriously. I've got a real solid fan base. In the past two to three years people have really grown with me and got to know me and what I do. They've really got to know my personality and they really like my music.And I'm no different with my music. I also had to prove myself, which is what I've done.”
