Hard rock hero Meat Loaf has announced the first dates of his hugely-anticipated 2013 tours, starting with his gigs in Germany next April and May - and he’s revealed that he’ll be performing his mega-famous record ‘Bat Out of Hell’ in its entirety.
The record is one of the best-selling albums of all time, and still sells over 200,000 copies a year - despite having worldwide sales of over 43million copies and being over 35 years old. So, what better way to pay back fans who’ve contributed to the feats than to perform the album in full across the globe?!
The news was broken via a post on his Facebook page, which read: “So who wants to see Meat perform 'Bat out of Hell' - THE ALBUM? In its' entirety....all 7 songs.....the order in which they were recorded??? We're finally ready to start releasing dates for 2013. These are gonna be some of the most special shows Meat has ever done.”
Germany was the lucky country it’s dates revealed first - you can check them out below. We expect that the UK will be next - so keep your eyes peeled for an announcement in the very near future. Stay with Stereoboard for more Meat Loaf news - we’ll let you know his UK tour plans first.
