The Bad Shepherds Announce Autumn 2013 UK Tour Dates & Tickets

The Bad Shepherds are reforming in 2013 - kicking off with a tour of Australia in late April and early May. The trio will return to UK stages in Autumn next year for a tour in November and December.

If you don't already know, The Bad Shepherds play punk songs on folk instruments... and it works. Troy Donockley plays the ethereal uillean pipes and the bouzouki, Andy Dinan is on the fiddle, with Adrian Edmondson on Mandolin.

Songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers, The Jam, Sham 69, The Undertones, The Ramones, The Buzzcocks, The Specials, Talking Heads, Squeeze and others all feature in their repertoire. There's even some Kraftwerk thrown in for good measure!

The trio recently unveiled that a new album is on the way, posting an announcement on their official website: "Troy and I are getting together early in the New Year to start work on a new album. We've got a a hat full of songs we were playing on the last tour that we haven't recorded yet, and we're looking forward to working on some others that have been knocking at my door for a year or so now."
