ArcTanGent Makes First Line-Up Announcement - Including Friday Night Headliner

Bristol based ArcTanGent festival has announced its first acts. The sister event to 2000trees has confirmed 65daysofstatic as its Friday night headliners alongside a range of other equally exciting bands to begin filling up what is sure to be an unmissable line-up.
Joining acclaimed post-rock/electronic wizards 65daysofstatic at the inaugural ArcTanGent will be the likes of Three Trapped Tigers, Maybeshewill, Tall Ships, Rolo Tomassi, Johnny Foreigner, Castrovalva, Yndi Halda, This Town Needs Guns, Brontide, The Physics House Band, Axes and Among Brothers. This first selection of line-up components represents a broad cross-section of the UK’s finest experimental rock artists. Ric Phethean of Tall Ships says that he “really can’t wait for ArcTanGent” whilst John Helps of Maybeshewill says “it’s an absolute privilege to be asked to be involved”. Both artists are huge fans of 2000trees, as are we at Stereoboard now you mention it, and are rightly excited at the prospect of being part of what is sure to be an exceptional debut weekend for this new event.
Festival co-founder James Scarlett has stressed the importance of more leftfield acts to ArcTanGent’s philosophy and says that “this first line-up announcement gives our audience an idea of where we are coming from musically”, whilst also promising the announcement of many more fantastic artists in the near future. Meanwhile, fellow organiser Goc O’Callaghan has emphasised the great value that ArcTanGent is set to offer, with the full line-up set to include over seventy bands as well as DJs and an excellent selection of well sourced food and drink.
