American alt-rockers The Smashing Pumpkins have confirmed that they’re working on their next studio album.
The news was broken by frontman Billy Corgan via Twitter, and comes less than a year after their last album effort ‘Oceania’ hit shelves.
The announcement may mean that the band have some new material to rip through when they hit the UK for a mini-tour this summer, and could even potentially see a record out before the end of the year - though nothing official has been said yet.
