Russia’s most musically influential cult art rockers, Mumiy Troll, have just unveiled the video for new UK single ‘Swimming With Sharks’ and play shows in Glasgow and London later this week.
'Swimming With Sharks' is a strange hybrid. It was written and recorded aboard a sailing ship while the band sail around the globe aboard the Barque Sedov – one of Russia’s oldest sailing vessels and one of the largest traditional sailing ships in the world.
'Swimming with Sharks' was co-produced by the Circuit Freq team who met Mumiy Troll while the Sedov was anchored in the US. LA-based Circuit Freq are the production team behind Linkin Park's soloist side project Death By Sunrise.
'Swimming With Sharks' was then mixed in the UK by none other than Ben Hillier (Depeche Mode, Graham Coxon) and is the first single to be taken from Mumiy Troll's forthcoming and as-yet-untitled English language album.
Mumiy Troll will be supported on the below dates by Moulettes and additionally joined by Rubylux in London.
