Slash, David Attenborough & More Appear Alongside Brian May In New Pro-Badger Track - Listen Now!

Rock and roll superstar Slash and legendary nature-narrator David Attenborough are two people you probably wouldn’t have put together, but this month, you can catch them alongside a handful of other musical celebrities - performing a track about badgers!
Yes, that's right - if you’ve ever wondered what Slash’s guitar solos would sound like mixed with verses rapped by Sonny Green, or how well Attenborough’s smooth-talking voice would blend with choruses sung by Massive Attack’s Shara Nelson, then your prayers have now been answered - they’ve all combined forces with Brian May and Kerry Ellis (as well as Sam & The Womp) to create a new track campaigning about the culling of badgers - and it’s actually pretty good!
Entitled ‘Badger Swagger’, it’s protesting against this summer’s proposed badger cull, and is available to buy via iTunes right now - simply click here. All proceeds will go to the protection of badgers, while it’s creators Artful Badger have asked that supporters sign this petition and write to their local MPs (click here) to help them save the 100,000 badgers that face an untimely demise this summer.
Speaking of the video, Artful Badger have written this statement:
“We created this track & music video together to raise awareness on the needless, unscientific, cruel & unwarranted slaughter of one of the British Isles' most beloved and unique creatures. Backed by politics & fear, not science nor public opinion, this expensive & ineffective badger cull could well cause more problems than it cures....even our friend Sir David Attenborough says so!!”
Slash has also commented on the video - he tweeted earlier in the month:
Just finished "Badger March" solo 4 "Badger Swagger." It's sounds like a badger riot. Or, a bunch of hooligan badgers in a pub. iiii]; )'
Brian May has long been a supporter of badgers and is totally against the culling of them - he’s written a couple of pro-badger tracks in the past, and has also appeared at many pro-badger rally.
