Beady Eye Unveil New 'BE' Studio Footage

Monday, 10 June 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Liam Gallagher’s latest outfit Beady Eye release their second record ‘BE’ today, and to mark the occasion they’ve released studio footage narrated by producer Dave Sitek himself.

The band hit #3 with their debut back in 2011, and after riding it’s success and performing across the country, they went back to the studio to begin work on their second - alongside experienced producer and TV on the Radio guitarist Dave Sitek.

Now, with work all finished and the album available to buy in shops, the band have unveiled some behind-the-scenes studio footage of them putting it together, and it’s all been lovingly narrated by Sitek himself. You can check it out below.

Sitek says in the video:

“This will go out into the world, and our work is done, and that's our primary responsibility. And the gift that we get from doing something like this is, is the present. Like, when we press play. That's the highest gift anyone can have, it's like "woah, f*ck", we made something happen. I mean, life is about growth, it's about change.”

The band are also set to perform an in-store at London’s Rough Trade this evening - and fans were queuing from the early hours of this morning in hope of getting wristbands for entry. If you weren’t among the lucky ones, check the dates and links below to find tickets for their three up and coming UK gigs! You’ll also find the studio video below, too
