US Teen Sensation Temara Melek To Headline London's O2 Academy Islington

LA teen sensation Temara Melek, is hotly tipped as the one to watch, with the release of her brand new single Karma’s Not Pretty - an infectious slice of teen pop/rock that packs a punch. The first track from her forthcoming ‘Karma’ EP, Temara co-wrote the song with Cassadee Pope who won The Voice USA 2012. The track was produced by the award-winning team, Stacy Jones and Mike Schmid, who have been influential in the rise of Miley Cyrus’s career.
“In ‘Karma’s Not Pretty’ I am singing about a UK celebrity whose relationship didn’t end up with a happy-ever-after. I am basically warning him ‘what goes around comes around’ in a fun way though… We’re still great friends,” she said.
The video for Karma’s Not Pretty has just been shot in LA and features cameo appearances from Pretty Little Liars stars Keegan Allen and Gregg Sulkin.
Hot -on-the-heels of the release of her new single, Temara will then kick off her UK nationwide 'KARMA Tour'. She will be headlining O2 Academy Islington on August 7, then taking her live show across the UK later in the year.
Karma’s Not Pretty is released by Straight Forward Records on September 8 (available to pre-order from August 7).
