Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga is attempting to block details of a potentially ‘harmful’ lawsuit involving her, her former collaborator Wendy Starland, and ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari from the public eye, according to reports.
The case was started by Starland back in 2010, as she claims she is owed money after discovering Gaga while she was still performing under her real name Stefani Germanotta. It was then that she introduced her to Fusari.
According to TMZ, Gaga is apparently desperate to keep details of the case private and has filed legal documents in the hope of keeping it that way - as the info is ‘sensitive, private, and personal’.
Gaga says that she and Fusari are legally bound to keep the information out of the public’s view as part of ‘a non-disparagement agreement’ - and claims that if the info was to be revealed, it would cause her ‘significant personal and professional harm’.
A judge is yet to rule on the case, meaning you’ll have to wait a little longer to see how the case pans out - and if any of the sensitive information is revealed. What do you think of the news? Leave us a comment in the box below!
