American superstar Prince has claimed that his fans ‘aren’t being satisfied elsewhere’ by other musicians, as his fans come and see his concerts ‘50 times’.
The mega-selling singer, who’s currently touring with his new girl band 3rdEyeGirl, has claimed that loads of his fans come and see him dozens and dozens of times in their lives, because things like lip-syncing and backing-tapes - something which he ‘ain’t got time for’ - leave them unsatisfied at other concerts.
He told V Magazine (via Digital Spy):
“People come to see us 50 times. Well, that's not just going to see a concert - that's some other mess going on. This music changes you. These people are not being satisfied elsewhere by musicians, you feel what I'm saying? It's no disrespect to anyone else, because we're not checking for them. But we don't lip sync. We ain't got time for it. Ain't no tape up there.”
