Scotland’s newest pop-punk export Altered Sky have announced a brand new single taken from their forthcoming EP. The track I Know You Know is set for release on July 22.
The eagerly-awaited single follows the band's debut EP ‘In This World’, which was released in 2011 and saw the band complete numerous UK tours including a support slot with MXPX.
A new EP will be released later this year. Recorded with RomeshDodangoda (Funeral for a Friend, Kids in Glass Houses) at the legendary Longwave studios, the band are really excited to get it out to their loyal fan base: “Recording with Romesh seemed so daunting at first, he’d worked with FFAF and Motorhead so we were a bit nervous. He was so professionally focused, though, that we just fell into this amazing rhythm in the studio. We can’t wait to release this next record, we love the new tracks and playing them live is going to be something special.”
Since forming in 2010, Altered Sky has been touring and writing, which has earned them an impressive fan base across the UK and gained them impressive live spots, such as headlining King Tuts.
Armed with new material, which will firmly cement their mixture of soaring vocals and catchy melodies deep in the core of those who hear it, Altered Sky will be playing at the following dates.
