Watain Announce 'The Wild Hunt' Album Formats

Wednesday, 10 July 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Taking things to the next step - whatever the costs are. This has always been Watain’s goal from day one and this has never been truer than with 'The Wild Hunt', their fifth full-length album coming out August 19 in Europe and August 20 in North America through the band’s own label His Master’s Noise and Century Media Records.

Watain decided to go into seclusion for over six months to compose their new album, followed by four long and excruciating months in four different studios to record the beast. With mixing duties handled by the faithful Tore Stjerna at the famous Necromorbus studio in Alvik in Sweden, 'The Wild Hunt' marks another achievement and ups the ante compared to Watain’s well received previous releases.
