Last year, Columbus, Ohio duo Twenty One Pilots signed to prestigious label Fueled By Ramen and have since had a whirlwind 12 months. They’re now ready to hit the UK with their label debut album 'Vessel', to be released September 2. Following on from two incredible sold out shows at the Barfly in March and The Underworld in June the band will be returning to the UK to play two headline shows in Birmingham and Manchester as well as their Reading and Leeds Festival debut.
Having already self-released two albums, the first in 2009 and second in 2011, the duo quickly attracted serious label attention following a sold out hometown show in Columbus. Everywhere they go they’re building an incredibly loyal following – as shown by their recent Underworld show where 400 kids turned up wearing the same white balaclava that the guys wear on stage.
'Vessel' sees Twenty One Pilots expanding upon the distinctive fusion of piano-driven indie-rock, ably supported in the studio with superstar producer Greg Wells (Weezer, Adele, Aerosmith) behind the board.
