Frankie And The Heartstrings Reveal Video For That Girl, That Scene

Tuesday, 03 September 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Frankie And The Heartstrings have released the video for That Girl, That Scene, taken from their acclaimed album 'The Days Run Away'.

Directed by north east based Carol Lynn, the video features the Newcastle Roller Girls, specifically, their A team the Canny Belters and the B team, The Whippin' Hinnies.

Also featured is the band's own record shop, Pop Recs Ltd. Since opening in June 2013, what was meant to be a six-week venture continues to thrive and is a welcome and much appreciated addition to Sunderland. The band's hard work and dedication to the shop has resulted in a nomination for 'Hardest Working Band' at tonight's AIM Awards.

Catch Frankie & The Heartstrings performing live at next month's Swn Festival in Cardiff.
