Arctic Monkeys Heading for Title of 2013's Fastest-Selling Album

Arctic Monkeys are set to claim the fastest selling album of 2013, with 'AM' currently riding high at the summit of the charts.
The band, who headlined Glastonbury Festival earlier this year, released their fifth studio album on September 9, and have racked up an impressive 125,669 sales in just four days.
They currently sit in second spot, having overtaken Michael Buble’s summer LP ‘To be Loved’. Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ is the only album in their path, though the French house duo are sitting pretty having amassed over 165,000 sales.
Alex Turner and co. are on course to land a fifth consecutive #1 album, although they do still have stiff competition in fast rising newcomers London Grammar, whose debut record ‘If You Wait’ is at #2, while the popular Goldfrapp’s latest offering ‘Tales of Us’ follows.
