Deerhunter Cancel UK Tour, Including Swn Festival Slot

Deerhunter have been forced to cancel their forthcoming UK tour, including a headline Friday night appearance at Cardiff's Swn Festival.
The Atlanta indie-rockers, who released 'Monomania' earlier in 2013, had been set to play seven UK shows throughout October but have now pulled the tour due to 'family circumstances'. They said:
"We are very disappointed to have to cancel our upcoming european tour do to unforeseen circumstances. We were very excited for these shows, but unfortunately family circumstances at home for multiple members of the band have made this unavoidable. We will reschedule as soon as possible."
Swn organisers have confirmed that Cardiff University's Solus venue will now no longer be used at the festival, and that they are working to accomodate bands booked to support Deerhunter - Bo Ningen, Pinkunoizu and Verity Susman - in new slots.
Along with Deerhunter, Amateur Best, Danny Byrd, Spectrals and the Lay Lows have also cancelled shows at the festival, although DJ Felson, Duo-Flex, Outfit, the Wytches, Valleyers and Wichita DJs have been drafted in.
