Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling J.Cole has revealed the short film for his self-produced single Crooked Smile, featuring TLC.
The short film for Crooked Smile is dedicated to Aiyana Stanley-Jones, the young girl who was sadly killed in her home on the East Side of Detroit, MI during a police raid in 2010. The film, directed by Sheldon Candis, examines the danger of the war on drugs in communities across the nation with vivid imagery and storytelling.
The Crooked Smile short film comes at the beginning of J.Cole’s What Dreams May Come Tour featuring Wale, which kicked off this week in Miami to a sold out crowd. Immediately following his sold out North American run, J.Cole will head out on the European edition of the tour, beginning November 10 in Copenhagen and concluding December 11 in Dublin.
