J. Cole Confirms Release Date For New Album 'The Fall-Off'

J. Cole has announced a new album.
The North Carolina rapper took to social media to announce 'The Fall-Off', sharing a cinematic teaser that reveals the concept behind the long-awaited record, which is due out on February 6.
Hours after the announcement, Cole shared the soulful, introspective first single, released under the title The Fall-Off… Disc 2 Track 2, suggesting that the project could be a double album, though a tracklist is yet to be revealed.
Fans have been waiting for 'The Fall-Off' since 2018, when Cole teased it with the closing track on his fifth album 'KOD', 1985 - Intro to "The Fall-Off". He has also referenced it during live performances over the years.
In 2024, he dropped the mixtape 'Might Delete Later', a 10th anniversary edition of his 2014 album 'Forest Hills Drive' and a song called Port Antonio, followed in 2025 by a new track titled cLOUDs. His latest album is 2021's 'The Off-Season'.
