Los Angeles trio Haim have covered Miley Cyrus’ new single Wrecking Ball.
The sisters (plus their drummer Dash Hutton) hit the BBC Radio 1 studios this week to cover Cyrus’ latest chart-topping track Wrecking Ball, for the hugely-popular Live Lounge series. You can check out the cover below - it’s already racked up thousands of YouTube hits, and is receiving a lot of positive comments too.
It’s the latest addition to the Live Lounge collection, which has already seen some incredible cover versions. Recently we’ve been treated to a John Newman cover by Nina Nesbitt, The 1975 playing their version of One Direction’s That’s What Makes You Beautiful, and The Script performing Rihanna track Stay.
The BBC will be compiling a collection of the best Live Lounge covers for 2013, and it sees a release on October 28. Who has been your favourite Live Lounger of 2013? Leave us a comment in the box below!
