Award-winning singer songwriter Ed Sheeran has opened up about his highly-anticipated second album.
Ed has revealed that his long-awaited second collection won’t have a ‘regular name’, having already told fans earlier this year that its titled ‘doesn’t begin with a letter’. Speaking to The Daily Star, he explained:
“I can't call an album ‘+’ and then give the one after a regular name.”
Also commenting on the record’s tracklisting, Sheeran said:
“I've had to whittle 70 songs down to 12.”
The new album is reportedly set for a release on February 17 next year - which is, incidentally, Sheeran’s 23rd birthday - and features collaborations with the likes of Pharrell Williams, The Game, and Rudimental.
The new album is shaping up to be an epic LP, but following-up ‘+’, he has his work cut out for him - his debut hit #1 in the UK, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, and is ranked an incredible 6x platinum.
