'Take That Is My Main Job', Says X Factor Judge Gary Barlow

Gary Barlow has reassured fans that Take That is his ‘main job’.
The singer, who also boasts a more than successful solo career as well as featuring on the X Factor judges panel, has revealed that his music - and in particular, his boyband Take That - will always be his ‘main job’ and strongest love, despite all of his other ventures.
“I’m an artist first and foremost, that’s my day job so it’s no contest from that point of view. Going deeper into that, I’m in Take That as my main job, that’s how I see myself. If I could do a little record myself every five years or so and make enough back to make another record and tour I’d be happy.”
He did add that The X Factor was ‘totally different’, and that it had given him ‘more confidence’ in front of cameras, but also admitted that he is ‘at my happiest when I’m writing, recording and performing’.
The comments come ahead of a long-awaited second coming, with Barlow’s latest and fourth solo album ‘Since I Saw You Last’ set for a release later this year, and a brand new tour lined-up for April next year. They also come amongst rumours that Barlow will leave The X Factor at the end of the next series for another stint with Take That - would you like to see the guys return?
