Gary Barlow And Becky Hill Join Forces For New Track Don't Look Down

Friday, 01 August 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Gary Barlow has teamed up with Becky Hill for a new duet, Don't Look Down.

Co-written by the pair after exchanging stories about their musical journeys, the feel-good song highlights both artists' vocal talents with soaring harmonies against a layered backdrop of piano, strings and acoustc guitar. On the spark that led to the collaboration, Barlow said:

"It's always interesting talking about how songs come about. This one was a crazy process because it was the first time Becky and I had met. She wandered in and we spoke for a little bit about music and being an artist and then the music just started to flow and the room changed. As soon as I had played a couple of chords on the piano, she came to life and it was amazing to see.

"I'm so proud to know Becky and even prouder to have worked with her. She is an amazing artist and, above all that, an incredible songwriter. I can’t wait for people to hear it."

The Take That star and eight-time BRIT Award-winner wrapped up his huge Songbook Tour earlier this summer after returning in March with If There's Not A Song About It, a country-pop track with Grammy-winner Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw.

Barlow put out his latest studio album, and sixth overall, 'The Dream of Christmas', in 2021, which followed 2020's 'Music Played by Humans'. Take That's latest album, meanwhile, is 2023's 'This Life'.

Two-time BRIT-winner Becky Hill released her second album, 'Believe Me Now?', in 2024. She'll play Haydock Park Racecourse in Merseyside on August 8 as part of the Jockey Club Live series, before sets at Reading and Leeds later in the month. Tickets are on sale now.
