The Dare, the solo project of Harrison Patrick Smith, has announced a new EP.
'Freakquencies: Vol 1' will arrive through Polydor/Republic Records on August 22, and features the newly shared infectious, clubby number Tambourine.
Named after the New York vocalist, songwriter and producer's party series Freakquencies, the four-track project marks his first instrumental release, and follows his 2024 debut album, 'What’s Wrong With New York?', and the subsequent deluxe edition, 'What’s Wrong With New York?: Afters', which arrived this June.
The Dare is currently amid a run of international festival appearances, and plays England's Reading andLeeds festivals later in August. Tickets are on sale now.
