One Direction Confirmed For American Music Awards Performance

World beating boyband One Direction have been confirmed to perform at the American Music Awards.

Harry Styles and co. have been dominating the American charts in recent years, becoming one of the country’s favourite pop acts - something which has earned them two award nominations at this year’s AMAs. Now, they’ve also joined the bill of performers who’ll be entertaining the crowds at the ceremony in November.

1D are in the running for the 'Favourite Band, Duo or Group - Pop/Rock' award, while latest LP ‘Take Me Home’ sees them named as potential winners in the 'Favourite Album - Pop/Rock' category too. It’s unknown what track they’ll be performing, so you’ll have to look out for coverage next month.

Also performing at the award ceremony are Miley Cyrus, Imagine Dragons, and Florida Georgia Line, while more acts and names are set to be announced.
