Coldplay surprised locals at a Somerset pub on Monday night, playing a set alongside Conor Maynard, Chas and Dave and Becky Hill.
The band turned out at the Ring O’ Bells in Compton Martin, ripping through a hit-filled set that included their classic single Yellow and newer tracks such as Paradise. The pub is partly owned by Miles Leonard, chairman of Parlophone records.
Coldplay, meanwhile, will host Under 1 Roof, a benefit concert in support of the charity Kids Company, at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London on December 19.
