Liverpool-based quartet F.O.E.S have announced a UK tour for February and March 2014 in support of their forthcoming five-track EP titled 'Ophir', set for release on February 10 2014 with a limited edition vinyl pressing.
To celebrate the news, the band are sharing the atmospheric video for their third single, the haunting post-rock track Ningyo.
Guitarist Joe Danher explains:
"Ningyo is a little removed from everything else we've done. There's a lot of bittersweet in there, so we really wanted the track to be all about the bare vocal and Chris' lyrics. It’s a step away from the usual frenetic sound of our band."
Recently playing alongside 36 Crazyfists, No Age, the Icarus Line and Hacktivist in their home town of Liverpool, their powerful, cinematic sound has already seen them compared to At The Drive In, Deftones and Circa Survive.
