Daft Punk Confirmed To Perform At Grammy Awards

Thursday, 19 December 2013 Written by Huw Baines

Daft Punk have been confirmed to perform at the Grammy Awards.

The French duo have been nominated for four awards at the ceremony, which will be televised on January 26, having released 'Random Access Memories' earlier this year. Their last television performance also came at the Grammys, when they joined Kanye West on stage in 2008.

Ken Ehrlich, the awards' executive producer, told Rolling Stone:

"Conversations took place over a period of a couple of months, and finally they agreed to be a part of this year's telecast. Details of the performance are still being worked out, but the idea of having the exclusive television performance by this iconic band is something we're very, very excited about."

Also set to perform at the event is rapper Kendrick Lamar.
