Art Garfunkel To Return To Performing After Recovery From Vocal Problems

Tuesday, 14 January 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

Art Garfunkel is set to return to the stage in 2014, four years after being forced to pull out of a Simon & Garfunkel tour due to vocal cord paresis.

The legendary vocalist has lined up a handful of US tour dates, which will run from the end of January through February, having played several small shows at the tail-end of last year.

Garfunkel said in a statement:

“The voice is back. I'm in flight again. I believe I have grown through adversity.  A new creation has emerged that is truly exciting me — my stage show.”
