The Afghan Whigs will release a new album, 'Do To The Beast', on April 14.
The record is the band's first since '1965' arrived some 16 years ago and also marks their return to Sub Pop, who put out 'Up In It', their second album, back in 1990.
The Afghan Whigs have also been confirmed to perform at this year's Coachella Festival, which will be headlined by Outkast, Muse and Arcade Fire.
