Roger Daltrey Confirms The Who Could Record In 2014

Thursday, 30 January 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

Roger Daltrey has confirmed that the Who have new material at their disposal should they decide to enter the studio and record a new album.

Daltrey will release a new collaboration with Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson in March, and also hit the stage for a one-off London show, but there's also a possibility that the Who could suit up for a new release in the near future.

Speaking to NME at the Teenage Cancer Trust announcement, Daltrey said:

“Pete's got hundreds of songs, so the only question is whether we get around to it, but he wants to make an album and I'm always ready and raring to go. We'll see. I never know what I'm doing next, it's about what comes through my letterbox tomorrow, but I don't see why we wouldn't. My voice is still in good shape. The hearing isn't so great, but the voice is fine.”

The Who released 'Endless Wire', their 11th studio album, in 2006.

Wilko Johnson & Roger Daltrey UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows
