The Who are an English rock from London, currently consisting of frontman Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, with former members being bassist John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon.
Formed in 1964, the band released ‘My Generation’ in 1965, followed by ‘A Quick One’, the following year, which hit #4 in the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, ‘The Who Sell Out’, came out in 1967, and including the Top 10 single, I Can See for Miles. The band released their double album, ‘Tommy’, in 1969, which hit #2 in the UK Albums Chart and #4 in the USA Billboard Hot 200.
‘Who's Next’ was released in 1971, followed by ‘Quadrophenia’ in 1973, and ‘The Who by Numbers’ in 1975. ‘Who Are You’, the band’s eighth album, was the last to feature Keith Moon, before his death the same year. The band went on to release ‘Face Dances’ in 1981 and ‘It's Hard’ in 1982, before they disbanded. The band reformed in 1996, and released ‘Endless Wire’ in 2006.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the world, including the Olympics closing ceremony in London. They spent the summer of 2013 performing their new ‘Quadrophenia’ show throughout the UK, and returned in 2014 with their celebration of 50 years of the band. They topped the bill at a British Summer Time show at London’s Hyde Park in June 2015.
The Who tour the UK in spring 2017 with their ’Tommy and More’ show, while they have dates in North America and Europe lined up too. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.

I 1st saw The Who in London in 1976 & have seen them play many times since; however we came to New York specially for this gig as it was my sons 30th birthday, & we felt a night to remember was called for.
Rogers voice was in great nick, Petes guitar work was as good as ever & we also had Zak back on "The Skins".
All in all, a fine time was had by all; catch them in The States or Canada if you can next year!
