U2 Offer New Track For Charity Download

Monday, 03 February 2014 Written by Elliott Batte

U2 have made a new song, Invisible, available for free download via iTunes.

For each download of the song, which Bono has described as a 'sneak preview' of their new album's sound, Bank of America will donate $1 to the (RED) Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

According to USA Today, Invisible, which was premiered during last night's Superbowl, will be removed from iTunes on Tuesday. Bono told the newspaper:

"We're taking all the energy around the Super Bowl and interest in what U2's doing and flipping it. We have another song we're excited about to kick off the album. This is just sort of a sneak preview — to remind people we exist."
