Prince Announces Further London Dates And Two Manchester Shows

Saturday, 15 February 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Prince has announced he will play a further two London shows on this coming Sunday and Monday night, as well as two gigs in Manchester next week.

The funk superstar, with his new band 3rd Eye Girl, has been busy performing a number of "guerrilla" gigs in and around London with the latest taking place at King's Place last night, February 14.

Earlier in the evening, the star revealed two more shows for London, KOKO on February 16 and Ronnie Scotts on February 17, as well as two shows in Manchester, rumoured to be on the Friday and Saturday on next week, with venues still to be confirmed.

The impromptu shows, which operate on the basis that first to arrive at the scene get tickets, have been a sensational experience for fans, with Prince performing new material as well as reprising some of his biggest hits such as U Got the Look, Raspberry Beret and Purple Rain.
