The Von Trapps Line Up May UK Shows

The Von Trapps, the great-grandchildren of Captain and Maria von Trapp, made famous by the 1965 film The Sound of Music, have set up four UK headline shows for May.

Sofia, Melanie, Amanda, and August von Trapp have been singing together for 12 years, and have toured all over the world in concert. For these new shows, the Von Trapps will be joined by backing orchestra Pink Martini who draw inspiration across the continents – spanning genres of classical, jazz and old- fashioned pop.

The Von Trapps will be supporting the release of their album with Pink Martini, called 'Dream a Little Dream', which was released earlier this month.

The Von Trapps UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows

Thu May 08 2014 - NOTTINGHAM Glee Club, Nottingham
Fri May 09 2014 - BIRMINGHAM Town Hall, Birmingham
Sat May 10 2014 - LONDON Barbican Hall
Sun May 11 2014 - MANCHESTER Royal Northern College of Music
