The Kooks have premiered the music video for their new single Down.
The Brighton quartet recently unveiled a new direction with their lead track from the forthcoming fourth record, having worked alongside hip-hop producer Inflo on the track. Vocalist Luke Pritchard, who co-wrote and co-produced the track, said:
"With this record we didn’t do any rehearsing beforehand. I'd write a song with Inflo or on my own, put it up and we’d all play over it. There was a real freedom to the process."
The Kooks' last album, 'Junk Of The Heart', was released in 2011. It was the follow up to 2008's 'Konk' and their 2006 debut breakthrough 'Inside In/Inside Out'.
