The Kooks have added a new UK show to their summer schedule.
The Brighton indie band will headline Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl on August 27 for the Rock N Roll Circus concert series, with support from Milburn, Miles Kane and more that are yet to be revealed. Tickets go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (March 6).
They've also been confirmed to play a special 20th Anniversary Spotlight Show on the beach at The Great Escape festival in their hometown on May 13. Tickets for that show go on general sale at 10am on March 13. The band's Luke Pritchard said:
“Brighton always feels like coming home in a way no other city does. The Great Escape is special because it’s fundamentally about music happening in rooms where you can feel people breathing. There’s something really powerful about when the distance between the band and the crowd just disappears. It always takes us back to the beginning and why we started this in the first place. I hope people leave feeling like they caught something rare, we can’t wait to see you there!”
The announcement arrives on the penultimate date of the extensive European leg of their Inside In / Inside Out 20th Anniversary Tour. It will travel across the UK and Ireland this summer, calling at concert series, outdoor venues and festivals, including Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax, Bristol Sounds, Labyrinth Open Air, Isle Of Wight Festival and the Trinity Summer Series.
The Kooks released their latest album, 'Never/Know', in May 2025. More recently, they shared the single See Me Now (Live At The O2 Arena, London) in February.
