Led Zeppelin Post First Trailer For Album Reissues

Thursday, 10 April 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Led Zeppelin have unveiled the first trailer for the reissues of 'Led Zeppelin', 'Led Zeppelin II', and 'Led Zeppelin III'.

The June 3 release of deluxe editions of 'Led Zeppelin', 'Led Zeppelin II', and 'Led Zeppelin III' will kick-off an extensive reissue program of all nine of Zepp's studio albums in chronological order, each remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin will also open its vaults to share dozens of unheard studio and live recordings, with each album featuring a second disc of companion audio comprised entirely of unreleased music related to that album.

 Page explains:

"The material on the companion discs presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin. It is a selection of work in progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions, and new material recorded at the time”

The remastered albums will be released on multiple CD, vinyl and digital formats. A super deluxe boxed set will also be available, including a hardback, 70-page book of rare and unseen photos and memorabilia. You can check out the modified artwork and tracklisting for the 'Led Zeppelin', 'Led Zeppelin II', and 'Led Zeppelin III' reissues here.
