Rival Sons Confirmed For Isle Of Wight And Download Festivals

Rival Sons have been announced for this year's Isle of Wight and Download festivals.
The Long Beach band will be celebrating the release of their upcoming new album, 'Great Western Valkyrie', on June 9 with a string of UK headline shows, prior to performing at Download on the Zippo Encore stage on Friday, June 13. The band will then play the main stage at the Isle of Wight festival on Saturday June 14.
Guitarist Scott Holiday comments:
"Last but not least! We may be a late announcement for these UK festivals, but we are very excited to say we're playing Isle of Wight, and thankful to return to Download for the third year. Download is always a blast, and to be invited out to Isle of Wight for the first time, and on the main stage, no less… Quite an honour! Great festivals, great bands. I should mention, I heard all our UK album release shows sold out - thank you for your support! Here we come UK brothers and sisters! Needless to say, we absolutely intend to burn all these UK shows straight to the ground."
'Great Western Valkyrie' is available to pre-order now on iTunes, including five exclusive bonus tracks which are only available to those who pre-order the album, plus three instant grat tracks.
